Managing water flow by diverting and controlling it on your property can help prevent water-related issues throughout your property. Installation of ditch lines and culverts, as well as proper slope design are common ways to enhance properties.

Often times during excavation projects, silt fence will be installed to help control the movement of sediment-laden water during work. A silt fence is a temporary barrier made of geotextile fabric that is installed along the perimeter of the excavation area. It's designed to filter sediment and retain soil particles, preventing them from being carried off-site by stormwater runoff.
